Lucknow: Today in Bangladesh, Hindus, Buddhists and people of other minority communities are being killed by fundamentalists. They are being burnt. Their properties are being looted. Not only this, the honor of mothers and sisters is being played with.
As long as Jinnah’s spirit remains there, such anarchy will continue. The poor and the deprived are being exploited there. This sin came before everyone in the form of the partition of the country in 1947. Its ugly form is again in front of us in the form of Bangladesh. Baba Saheb had warned the people about this in 1946-47 itself.
He had said that do not let the country be divided. If this happens, a fight to the finish will begin, which is in front of us today. These things were said by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) in a program organized on the Nirvana Diwas of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at the Ambedkar Mahasabha campus located at Vidhan Sabha Marg. Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Baba Saheb by offering flowers to his statue in Hazratganj.
Some people are deceiving the society, these are the same people who were silent when the villages of Dalits were burnt
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) said that today some people are deceiving the society. They are spreading lies in the society. These are the same people who were silent when the villages of Dalits were being burnt by the Nizam of Hyderabad and his rulers. During that time they were being exploited. They were being tortured. At that time also Baba Saheb Ambedkar had written an open letter that all the Dalits of the Nizam of Hyderabad, who are being tortured, should leave the Nizam’s state and go to Maharashtra, but do not change their religion and opinion. At the same time, the people of the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Pakistan-loving Jinnah tried to tempt Baba Saheb to carry out their evil intentions, but he did not budge from his ideals. He said that I will always remain an Indian.
I was born as an Indian and my last journey will also be as an Indian. He followed this vow throughout his life. He kept working continuously for the Dalits and the underprivileged. Those who followed Baba Saheb are safe in India today and are getting the benefit of reservation. Our government is respecting all of them and providing them every facility. The CM said that those who were misled by the words of Yogendra Nath Mandal are today suffering atrocities in Pakistan and Bangladesh. This scene is in front of all of us today.
Those who exploited the Dalits by making them their vote bank are silent on the incident in Bangladesh today.
CM Yogi said that in the year 1947, there was a large population of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Till 1971, 22 percent Hindus lived in Bangladesh, today it has come down to 6 to 8 percent. Whatever is happening there today, if the massacre continues like this, then this number will remain very limited. Voices have started being raised regarding this. Only those people are raising their voice who want to work for Dalits. On the other hand, those who have always exploited Dalits by making them their vote bank are silent on the Bangladesh incident. Not a single word is coming out of their mouth because they cannot accept the truth and cannot even speak the truth. They do not have the strength to speak, so they are silent on the Bangladesh scene.
These people are just pretending by showing the copy of the Constitution. They have nothing to do with the values of Baba Saheb. Even before this, they had tried to kill Baba Saheb by attacking his original Constitution. The CM said that the Preamble of the Constitution is its soul. Congress has done the work of removing its soul from the Preamble of the Constitution. In the year 1975, Baba Saheb was insulted by imposing emergency in the country.
Even today Congress is doing the same. They amended the Preamble of the original Constitution and added those words which Baba Saheb had not even added in the original Constitution. In such a situation, the real face of those who are pretending needs to be brought in front of the public and the country. Baba Saheb always worked for the deprived, oppressed and exploited people. He showed a new direction to the society and envisioned a prosperous society.
Our government is doing all-round development of the poor, deprived and Dalits by realizing the dream of Baba Saheb.
CM Yogi said that our government is continuously working to realize the dream of Baba Saheb for the poor, deprived and Dalits. Our government is providing them free toilets, housing, land leases. They are being given the benefit of pension facility. Scholarships and fee reimbursement are being given to SC-ST category students. Currently we are working on the target of zero poverty. The CM said that poverty will be completely eradicated in the coming time. All the deprived will be given the benefit of many facilities including ration, Ayushman card, pension, water to every house. Our government is committed to bring prosperity in the lives of the poor, deprived and Dalits. CM (CM Yogi) said that our government is going to establish Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar International Center in Lucknow so that research can be done on Baba Saheb and the philosophy of life can be taken to every village and every house. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Baba Saheb’s Panch Teerth has been established in the country.
The International Center is being established on the call and demand of Ambedkar Mahasabha, where there is a library along with a grand auditorium.
There will be a grand memorial of Baba Saheb along with hostel and guest house for girl students.
On this occasion, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Minister Asim Arun, Chairman of Scheduled Caste, Tribe Commission Baijnath Rawat, Legislative Council Member Dr. Lalji Prasad Nirmal, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, MLA OP Srivastava, Ramchandra Pradhan, BJP Lucknow Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi etc. were present.
